About us Dentistry of Poulsbo is a small business in
STE 100A
Poulsbo, WA. We are professional, agile, customer-centric and our goal is to Provide excellence in comprehensive dental care by putting the patient first. Working together as a team/family to achieve mutual goals. .
Our work environment includes:
Modern office setting with the latest technology Drama free patients and Team members
  • ```Duties```
  • Assist the dentist during dental procedures
  • Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures
  • Take and develop dental x-rays
  • Perform dental charting and documentation
  • Sterilize and maintain dental equipment and instruments
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
  • Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records
  • Treatment coordination with knowledge and skills in insurance, fees, reimbursements and electronic billing. Ability to run the front and float whenever necessary. ```Requirements```
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
  • Current certification in dental assisting preferred
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance
  • Proficiency in medical imaging software (e.g., CAD)
  • Experience assisting with dental procedures, including restorative, TMJ/Sleep, and periodontal treatments
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems (e.g., Epic)
  • Ability to take accurate vital signs and record patient information
  • Knowledge of medical coding and insurance billing processes
  • Strong understanding of dental anatomy and terminology Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.

  • $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 32
