Sequim, WA Compensation:
$23.00-$32.50 per hour

Part-Time transitioning to Full-Time over approximately 12 months About SFC Tax Service SFC Tax Service is one of the largest tax and IRS representation firms on the Olympic Peninsula. We serve individuals, families, retirees, and business owners throughout the region. We are seeking an outgoing, highly organized Office Manager who enjoys working with people, building systems, and helping a growing team operate efficiently. Position Overview The Office Manager serves as a key operational leader within the firm. This position combines customer service, administrative support, human resources assistance, process improvement, and team coordination responsibilities. The ideal candidate is energetic, personable, highly organized, process-driven, and comfortable interacting with clients, staff members, and leadership. Key Responsibilities Office Operations Coordinate daily office operations and workflow Assist with developing, documenting, and implementing office systems and procedures Maintain organized digital and physical records Monitor office supplies and equipment Support leadership with operational and administrative projects Human Resources Support Assist with onboarding new employees Maintain employee records and documentation Support recruiting, interviewing, and hiring activities Assist with staff scheduling and internal communications Help foster a positive and professional office culture Client Service Provide exceptional customer service in person, by phone, and electronically Assist clients with appointments, document collection, and general inquiries Serve as a welcoming first point of contact for clients Resolve routine client concerns professionally and courteously Administrative Support Data entry and record management Document preparation and workflow tracking Maintain accuracy across multiple software systems Support reporting and special projects Tax Operations Support Cross-train on basic individual tax return preparation Assist with tax season workflow coordination Support tax professionals with administrative and organizational tasks Learn tax office procedures and compliance requirements Qualifications Required Ability to pass a background check Basic computer proficiency Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Positive attitude and strong work ethic Preferred Associate's degree or higher Two or more years of office administration, office management, customer service, or related experience Experience in a professional office environment Experience in accounting, tax, financial services, legal, or medical offices Who Will Thrive Here You may be a great fit if you are: Naturally outgoing and enjoy interacting with people throughout the day Highly organized and process-oriented Comfortable taking initiative and solving problems Detail-oriented and dependable Interested in building systems and improving efficiency Looking for a long-term career opportunity with room for growth Benefits & Perks Competitive pay of $23.00-$32.50 per hour DOE Two weeks paid time off Retirement plan with employer match Paid training and professional development Opportunities for advancement and increased responsibility Flexible and supportive team environment Employee appreciation events and team activities Stable year-round employment To Apply Please submit: Resume Brief cover letter explaining your interest in the position Three professional references This position requires frequent interaction with clients, staff, and the public.
