Job Description
Snohomish Health & Rehabilitation of Cascadia is looking for a Business Office Manager to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals to be a FORCE for Good in Snohomish, Washington! The Business Office Manager provides oversight of and assistance in daily operations of the facility including accounts receivable management, patient billing, accounts payable, and the Resident Trust Fund. Essential Functions Establishes and maintains financial files for all residents related to admission, billing, and collection of accounts receivable in accordance with regulatory requirements. Prepares accurate and timely billing for routine and ancillary services to state agencies, Medicare, Veterans Affairs, private payors and other billing agents. Actively manages collection process for facility. Maintains current copy of facility license(s) and proof of insurance coverage. Completes all necessary documentation and updates applicable system data related to cash receipts, account research and adjustments, transfer of depository cash, and daily census activity. Reviews payment policies and procedures with new admissions and their responsible parties. Documents business office processes on an on-going basis. Administers and reconciles resident trust accounts and petty cash at least monthly. Performs month-end close procedures and prepares and submits all required reports. Provides support to other managers, by working as a valuable partner. Other Functions Conducts job responsibilities in accordance with the standards set out in the Company's Code of Business Conduct, its policies and procedures, applicable federal and state laws, and applicable professional standards. Performs other tasks as assigned. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Knowledge of long term care billing and collection practices and techniques. Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and at all levels of the organization. Ability to organize and prioritize to meet deadlines. Skilled in the use of computers and the Microsoft Office suite. Ability to be flexible in work hours. Ability to be accurate, concise and detail oriented. Skilled in directing and motivating the workforce. Unquestionable integrity.

Licenses/Certification Valid driver's license required Experience Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.
