Job Description

Based out of our Brainard Funeral Home location in Wausau, this full-time Office Manager will oversee daily operations across our Wausau/Merrill area funeral homes, including Brainard, Helke, and Taylor-Stine-Waid. This is a meaningful opportunity to serve as a steady, welcoming presence for families and staff alike, while keeping our teams organized, connected, and running smoothly behind the scenes. What You'll Do Greet and welcome visitors and answer incoming calls Provide information and direct inquiries to the appropriate staff members Manage daily office operations and maintain clean, organized environments Oversee scheduling, calendars, and coordination across our area locations Handle accounts receivable/payable and basic banking tasks Maintain financial records and documentation Organize and maintain files, documents, and records Assist with data entry, reporting, and administrative support Manage office supplies and place orders as needed Support social media updates and online presence Coordinate internal and external communications on behalf of our locations Why Vertin You've been called to serve others.
