Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a keen attention to detail, ensuring that all administrative functions run smoothly. This role requires excellent communication skills, both in person and over the phone, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The Office Manager will play a crucial role in supporting staff and enhancing the overall productivity of the office environment. Responsibilities Manage daily office operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all administrative tasks. Oversee calendar management for executives, scheduling meetings and appointments as needed. Maintain organized filing systems for documents, both physical and electronic. Supervise office staff, providing training development opportunities to enhance their skills. Exhibit strong phone etiquette while managing incoming calls and directing them appropriately. Assisting Funeral Directors in at-need situations, completing obituaries, death certificates, filing life insurance policies, completing all necessary paperwork. Responsible for managing expenses, paying bills, sending invoices, and payment records. Qualifications Proven experience in an office management role or similar position. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Familiarity with payroll systems and employee supervision is preferred. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Proficient in using office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite). A background in office management is advantageous but not required.
