OF DUTIES

Assists Principal and other staff by preparing and distributing correspondence; schedule appointments, facilities, and other meetings as needed. Greet and direct visitors, answer and direct calls to the appropriate people, records teacher absences/substitutes for payroll and attendance tracking purposes. Accepts and deposits funds, disburses funds and assists with financial records as requested. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Associate's Degree or equivalent from two-year college; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience in a school office environment preferred. Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to communicate with all levels of staff, parents, and students. Must be able to multi-task. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Google Suites. Basic math, general office skills and strong technology skills are needed. Previous Administrative Assistant experience preferred.
