Job Summary The Administrative Assistant provides clerical and administrative support for SDAC's Civil Division office. This role supports daily office operations by maintaining records, processing paperwork, assisting project staff, and ensuring accurate and efficient administrative functions. Key Responsibilities Answer phone calls, emails, and greet visitors professionally Prepare correspondence, reports, forms, and office documents Maintain organized filing systems for project files, permits, invoices, and employee records Perform accurate data entry and maintain company software records Assist with invoices, purchase orders, payroll documentation, and timesheets Manage incoming/outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries Schedule meetings and maintain conference room calendars Support preparation of bid packages, contracts, and project documentation Maintain office supply inventory and place orders as needed Assist with permits, licenses, and insurance certificate tracking Perform scanning, filing, copying, and general office support duties Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Associate's degree in Business Administration or related field (preferred) 1-2 years of administrative or office experience preferred, ideally in construction or related industry Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality SDAC is an Equal Opportunity Employer .
