Job Description

We're looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Administrative Assistant to join Right at Home! This role plays a key part in welcoming and onboarding our caregivers, while helping keep the office running smoothly. The Administrative Assistant plays a key role in supporting Right at Home's office operations. This position serves as the first point of contact for caregivers, clients, and visitors, while also supporting caregiver onboarding, scheduling assistance, and day-to-day office functions. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, people-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Administrative Assistant Duties & Responsibilities:
Greeting colleagues, caregivers, and guests as they enter the office Answer and direct the incoming phone calls in a professional and friendly manner Keep common areas clean, organized, and welcoming Maintain and track the company vehicle log, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation Doing all caregiver hiring, onboarding, and orientations Guide new caregivers through onboarding requirements and paperwork Ensure all onboarding documentation is completed accurately and on time Provide basic technical support to the care staff Assist the Scheduling Team with caregiver call volume Communicate non-urgent schedule changes to caregivers Support general office operations and team needs Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent 1+ year of administrative or office experience preferred Strong customer service mindset Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Teams, email, etc.) Highly organized with strong attention to detail Ability to multitask, prioritize, take initiative, and work independently in a fast-paced office environment
Physical Demands:
Ability to remain seated for extended periods while working at a desk or computer Occasional standing, walking, reaching, and use of hands for office tasks Ability to communicate effectively in person and by phone
Work Environment:
This is an in-office position due to the nature of the role
Pay Range:
$17-$19/hour Final compensation will be based on experience, skills, and certifications.
Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
