Brief Job Description:
Direct phone calls and distribute correspondence Handle requests and queries appropriately from staff, teachers, and visitors Manage calendar and schedule meetings and appointments
All Occasion Cards:
Birthdays, Sympathy, Get Well, etc. Prepare agenda, sign in sheets, & take minutes for any meetings Check in and out source office supplies once delivered Type letters and/or create spreadsheets Organize and maintain office filing system Prepare Assembly room and/or conference rooms (e.g. make reservations and check equipment) and light hospitality duties. Cordially assist and scan background check for visitors entering building Event planning, organizing classrooms, office, furniture, etc. Faculty time cards, attendance data on spreadsheet Email and correspond with area schools, to provide the Director with updates in schedule changes, school events, grades, other deadlines, etc. Take attendance for on site area students and notify school secretaries Other duties as assigned
Training Areas:
Have work experience as a Staff Assistant, Administrative Assistant or similar role Computer literacy/skills Minimum Bookkeeping Willingness to learn new programs Attention to details Familiarity with office equipment (e.g. copiers, printers and fax machines) Organizational skills/Filing Verbal and written communication skills Professionalism while collaborating with varying managerial levels Multi-tasking
