Job Description

Overview PACE Technologies is looking for a part-time Front Office Assistant (approximately 20 to 25 hours per week) to support the daily flow of orders, calls, and customer inquiries that keep our front office running. This role works alongside our Lead Office Admin and is ideal for someone who is organized, responsive, and comfortable being a first point of contact in a fast-paced, product-based environment. It is a strong fit for someone who takes pride in accuracy and follows through without needing to be chased. Responsibilities Order Entry and Customer Support Enter all incoming sales orders into QuickBooks with a high level of accuracy Answer and direct incoming phone calls Respond to incoming customer email inquiries, including order status updates and re-directing quote requests to the right person Serve as a reliable first point of contact for routine customer questions Keep communication clear and direct with both customers and internal teams Office Administration Handle office filing and keep front office records organized Back up the Lead Office Admin on customer billings as needed Step in to support order entry, phones, and email inquiries during coverage gaps Qualifications 1+ years of experience in order processing, customer service, or front office administration Familiarity with QuickBooks or a similar accounting or ERP system Strong attention to detail, especially with orders and pricing Comfortable juggling phones, email, and data entry at the same time Proficient in Microsoft Office Nice to Have Experience with billing or accounts receivable Exposure to inventory, shipping, or quoting processes Experience in a product-based, manufacturing, or distribution environment
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
