About the Role We are looking for an organized, personable, and motivated individual to join our team. In this role, you can expect to… Provide exceptional customer service to residents and address inquiries and concerns promptly Process apartment applications, including reference checks, credit checks, and income verification Evaluate prospective applicants for eligibility while adhering to company guidelines and local regulations Market vacant units through advertising websites and company platforms Plan, schedule, and coordinate new move-ins in partnership with the maintenance coordinator to ensure units are move-in ready Investigate and resolve resident complaints, disturbances, and violations in accordance with local and state laws Monitor lease renewals, issue renewal notices, and ensure proper notice is received from residents Draft and execute lease agreements, addenda, and lease extensions Complete and review important documents, including lease agreements and legal notices Maintain an organized filing system for resident documentation (past, present, and future) Collaborate with managers and stakeholders across the company to enhance the resident experience Provide timely feedback to management regarding unit pricing, market trends, and issues with showcased units Manage general office administrative tasks related to property operations Tour prospective residents through available units as needed to support leasing agents Assist office staff with entering payments into the system and support bank deposits when needed
Driving/Traveling Requirements:
Reliable vehicle and valid drivers license is required for employment Utilization of personal transportation regularly to visit properties as needed, mileage is reimbursed at CA rates You may be a good fit for our team if you have… Excellent deescalation, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills Exceptional time management skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Well-organized, excellent work ethic, attention to detail, highly independent and self-starter. Ability to wear multiple hats and flexibility to work in various aspects of the business as needed Availability to work a flexible schedule to accommodate needs including occasional weekend work during the busy season Must possess a vehicle and valid California driver's license Preferred Qualifications Customer service and/or sales experience Proficiency in Appfolio Property Management software or similar Experience in a fast-paced and growing environment
Work Context:
This position involves exposure to construction sites. The office building contains stairs, and apartment buildings with no access to elevator
Pay Transparency Disclosure:
The pay scale for this position is $28-34/hourly depending on experience. These figures represent what we reasonably expect to pay for this position, but the actual compensation offered will depend upon numerous job-related factors, including but not limited to candidate qualifications, skills, experience, education, location, and alignment with market data. The Company reserves the right to modify the range in the future.
