Are you a highly analytical Total Rewards professional who thrives in complex, fast-paced healthcare environments? Alameda Health System is seeking an experienced Senior Total Rewards Programs Administrator to support and enhance our Compensation, Health & Welfare Benefits, and Retirement Programs across a large, unionized public healthcare system. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic and operationally strong Total Rewards professional who enjoys balancing analytics, compliance, systems oversight, employee support, and vendor management. You'll partner closely with HR leadership, Finance, Payroll, external vendors, and operational leaders to ensure our total rewards programs remain competitive, compliant, and employee-centered. If you have experience in healthcare, hospital systems, public sector, or unionized environments, and enjoy solving complex operational and analytical challenges, we encourage you to apply. What You'll Do As a key member of the Total Rewards team, you will: Support the administration of Compensation, Health & Welfare Benefits, and Retirement Programs Conduct compensation and benefits market analyses, audits, benchmarking, and reporting Analyze Total Rewards data and provide recommendations to improve program effectiveness and competitiveness Coordinate and reconcile retirement plan funding and time-sensitive wire activity Manage vendor communications, reporting, billing reconciliation, and enrollment audits Assist with employee communications, benefit education, and open enrollment initiatives Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Finance, Payroll, Labor Relations, and operational leadership Participate in system implementations, process improvements, and Total Rewards projects Support compliance efforts related to benefits, retirement, and compensation programs Serve as a resource for leadership and staff regarding Total Rewards processes and programs Contribute to strategic initiatives that enhance employee engagement and retention What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, or related field 10+ years of progressive Total Rewards, Compensation, Benefits, and/or Retirement experience Strong analytical, reporting, auditing, and reconciliation experience Experience managing sensitive and time-critical processes with accuracy and attention to detail Ability to independently manage projects and navigate complex organizational environments Strong communication and collaboration skills across multiple stakeholder groups Preferred Experience Healthcare, hospital system, or public sector experience Unionized labor environment experience Experience supporting Compensation, Retirement, and Health & Welfare programs simultaneously HRIS, benefits systems, and data reporting experience Experience presenting to committees, leadership groups, or labor partners Preferred Certifications CEBS (Certified Employee Benefit Specialist) CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) Or related Total Rewards certifications Why Alameda Health System?
