The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of personal injury cases while delivering exceptional client service throughout the claims process. Applicants must have comprehensive experience handling PI claims with case managers from start to finish, including initial client outreach, intake, providing case status updates, scheduling medical treatment, managing property damage and loss-of-use claims, reporting and resolving Medi-Cal/Medicare liens, and providing attentive, high-quality client care at every stage.
Responsibilities:
Assist in managing personal injury cases from intake to settlement. Facilitate timely medical treatment and scheduling. Communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and other parties involved in the case. Requesting, reviewing and organizing medical records, police reports, and other documents related to each case. Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation. Provide regular updates to clients on the status of their cases. Assist attorneys with case preparation for litigation, if necessary. Collaborate with other members of the legal team to ensure the smooth and efficient handling of cases.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years experience working in a personal injury law firm in California. Strong understanding of personal injury law and legal procedures in California. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Proficiency in case management software (FileVine) and Microsoft Office Suite. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times. Open to learning new skills Candidate must speak Spanish at fluency level.
Pay:
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
