Job Description

Big Bear Electric, Inc. is seeking an experienced, organized, and detail-oriented Submittals Assistant to join our rapidly growing team. This position plays a key role in supporting our Project Management and Construction Management teams by ensuring project documentation is accurate, organized, and submitted on time. Responsibilities Provide administrative and project support to the Construction Management Team and office staff. Assist with the preparation, organization, and management of project-related documentation. Track project timelines, deadlines, and deliverables, and communicate status updates to management. Assist in the preparation and management of Change Orders, Requests for Information (RFIs), and submittals. Utilize Procore to manage project information and generate reports. Maintain accurate project records and filing systems. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills Experience in construction administration, project coordination, or a related field preferred. Knowledge of Procore is preferred but not required. Understanding of construction project processes and procedures is a plus. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Professional verbal and written communication skills. Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and follow tasks through to completion. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience.
