Full Job Description Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Front Desk:
Answer incoming telephone calls Check-in/out patients & verify insurance for clean claim Process payments/copays Print out daily batches & give to manager Print our daily faxes and scan into patients' charts Confirm patient appointments Communicate with Manager on issues, updates, schedule changes Successfully complete EPIC training
Medical Assistant:
Scheduling/Rescheduling Appointments Taking vitals and rooming patients Preparing patient for exams and/or procedures Insurance Authorizations and Referral Entry Scheduling/Rescheduling Appointments Maintaining medical supplies and inventory for rooms Data entry into Electronic Health Record (EPIC) Successfully complete EPIC training
Strongly Preferred Qualifications:
Must be MA Certified Experience as a Scribe Medical terminology Excellent verbal, written and computer skills Electronic Health Record (EPIC)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel and Outlook) Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices 2 years' experience in the medical field desired High school diploma or GED required

Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
