Job Description:
We are a national professional services and technology organization with a rapidly growing presence across the United States, now expanding with a new office in Carlsbad, California. Our platform brings together Rockwater Tax, a high-touch tax services firm serving businesses nationwide, and TaxRock, a technology-driven compliance and risk intelligence platform that empowers organizations to proactively monitor and manage tax exposure. Together, we combine deep expertise with innovative technology to deliver smarter, more efficient solutions while creating opportunities for our team to grow, take ownership, and make a real impact. We are looking for an energetic Assistant to join our growing tax services team! The successful candidate will work closely with a team to provide an exceptional client experience and execute the delivery of tax compliance advisory services.
Job Duties:
Assist in the creation of professional project proposals Review and analyze client financial records Manage client relationships and provide exceptional customer service throughout the client lifecycle Contact and correspond on client's behalf with the taxing authorities, third parties, and other agents necessary to support your positions Create, review and format documents and letters into final form Consistently meet project deadlines Set appointments, calls, meetings and manage shared calendars Assist in contacting clients and other associated parties as directed Process incoming and outgoing mail and act as first point of contact for clients Prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects with close attention to detail Manage and maintain document organization and account files, electronic and hard copy Maintain and submit time entries for purpose of billing clients Manage a 80% billable utilization rate Ad hoc duties
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field Excellent English verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills and thrives as a team player in a highly collaborative environment Superior organization and time management skills with ability to multitask Strong attention to detail skills and takes pride in quality of work delivered Proficient with computers and the Microsoft Office suite
