This role is primarily front office-based with minimal back office clinical duties . The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, professional, and comfortable working in a behavioral health environment. Primary Responsibilities - Front Office Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries professionally Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments Complete medication prior authorizations with insurance companies Verify insurance eligibility and benefits Maintain accurate patient records within the electronic health record (EHR) system Provide excellent customer service while supporting patients with empathy and discretion Secondary Responsibilities - Back Office Obtain and document vital signs Administer medication injections as permitted by certification and scope of practice Perform daily Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) once trained and certified by the company Follow provider instructions and established clinical protocols Qualifications Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required At least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks with minimal supervision Prior experience with insurance verification and prior authorizations preferred Behavioral health or outpatient clinic experience preferred Bilingual preferred but not required Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills Ability to follow all HIPAA privacy and confidentiality standards •
