Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Bilingual Spanish Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations at our South Gate location. This role is critical in ensuring smooth communication with clients, families, and internal teams while maintaining organized administrative processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to program staff and leadership Answer and route phone calls, greet visitors, and assist walk-ins in both English and Spanish Schedule appointments, meetings, and maintain calendars Prepare, organize, and maintain client files and documentation Assist with data entry, reporting, and recordkeeping with a high level of accuracy Support communication with clients and families, including translation and interpretation as needed Coordinate office supplies and maintain a professional and organized office environment Assist with special projects and community outreach efforts as assigned
Qualifications:
Bilingual in English and Spanish (required) 1-3 years of administrative or office support experience Experience working in a nonprofit, healthcare, or social services environment preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work sensitively with diverse populations Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general office systems Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills:
Experience supporting individuals with special needs or working in related services Familiarity with client intake processes and confidential record management

Compensation:
$24 to $26 per hour Benefit offerings: include medical, dental, vision, additional voluntary benefits, 401K plan.
