50/hour (BOE) Join Our Team! Hanford Post Acute is seeking a reliable and organized Administrative Assistant to support our team on weekends. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and takes pride in providing excellent administrative and customer service support. Position Summary The Administrative Assistant provides clerical and administrative support to ensure efficient daily operations of the facility. This role interacts with staff, residents, families, and visitors while maintaining a professional and welcoming environment. Key Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative and clerical support
- Answer and direct phone calls in a professional manner
- Greet and assist visitors, residents, and families
- Maintain logs, records, and documentation accurately
- Assist with filing, data entry, and office organization
- Support nursing and administrative staff with daily tasks
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail
- Maintain confidentiality of all resident and facility information
- Assist with scheduling and coordination as needed
- Ensure front office and administrative areas are clean and organized
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous administrative or receptionist experience preferred
- Experience in a healthcare setting is a plus
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Positive, team-oriented attitude Physical Demands
