Job Description

Summary
PRIMARY FUNCTION
The Regional Operations Administrative Intern is responsible for supporting Operations teams to deliver projects of various complexities that span across one or more functional business area(s) and clinics within their region.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This list may not include all the duties that may be assigned. Utilizes and champions best practice governance and processes for the effective and consistent management of regional operations projects, which should include, but not be limited to, project plans, training materials, policy updates, cross functional collaboration, and data analysis. Leads special regional projects, supports operations initiatives assuring proper development and alignment of the project goals and resource plans while managing project schedules, and budgets / financials. Works with internal stakeholders in Managed Care, Credentialing, Real Estate, Facilities, Billing, Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, IT, Grants, Quality, and Application Support. Assists with resolving operational challenges and issues, helping to identify training and development needs. Develops process improvements and implements changes as applicable. Identifies areas of opportunity with operational processes and procedures between or within departments and proposes recommendations. Supports the regional Operations leadership team with various administrative functions and strategic initiatives. Performs all duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) in Business, Computer Sciences, Healthcare Management required. Experience may be commensurate with education.
EXPERIENCE
A minimum of 3 years of program/project management work experience required, within a healthcare environment preferred. A minimum of 3 years of experience in strategic planning within a healthcare setting, required, which should include support of executive and functional area team facilitation sessions. A minimum of 3 years of knowledge and experience with practice integration/operations work preferred. Prior experience in supporting project management initiatives, of varying complexities in a physician practice setting preferred.
LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION
Upon hire, and for the duration of the employment period, driver's license must be active and valid.

Ability to effectively translate interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs. Ability to demonstrate a functional acumen to support how solutions will address goals while maintaining alignment with industry best practices.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS
Non-patient facing May be either full time remote/telework or rotate working in the office and remote/telework Must be U.S. based Office/Desk work
Hybrid:
Remote/Onsite Monday - Friday May include travel to various practice locations on an as needed basis
