Full Job Description Job Description:
The Ministry Administrative Assistant serves as the first point of contact for the church and business office and provides administrative, clerical, and financial support to the ministries of Our Savior Lutheran Ministries (OSLM). This position supports HR Business Director and church leadership while ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of the office. Financial and School Support Enter school tuition payments into TADS and process monthly invoices for extended care Assist with Scrip sales and reports Prepare bank deposits Retrieve and distribute monthly credit card statements to staff and collect supporting receipts and account coding Assist with accounts payable and receivables Administrative Support Serve as first point of contact and liaison for the office Back up other office staff members as needed Perform general office and clerical duties as assigned Order ministry supplies to support events and programming Serve as backup for website updates and streaming software setup Qualifications and Desired Attributes Demonstrates a servant-hearted attitude and reflects Christ's love in interactions with others. Membership at OSLM is preferred but not required Maintains professionalism, dependability, and strict confidentiality Possess strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, QuickBooks, and general office technology Values teamwork and fosters positive working relationships among staff and volunteers Effectively prioritizes responsibilities, manages multiple tasks, and supports the ministry goals of OSLM Establishes and maintains constructive and cooperative working relationships with staff, volunteers, church members, and the community Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods Ability to lift and carry office supplies and materials up to 25 pounds Ability to attend occasional evening or weekend ministry events as needed
Education/Training/Experience:
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent with a 2 year college degree highly preferred. Minimum of 3 years' experience as an administrative assistant in a professional office environment.
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
