  • Plans, coordinates, manages, and performs general accounting functions to include accounts payable and accounts receivable according to established procedures.
  • Monitors account balances and related financial activity to ensure accuracy and budget availability.
  • Manages District purchasing of goods and services.
  • Manages school budgets under the direction of the Superintendent and the County Superintendent of Schools Office.
  • Oversees and coordinates health benefits for employees.
  • Performs personnel recordkeeping and maintenance of certificated and classified personnel records, including salary placement, step increases, and longevity pay.
  • Assists with salary schedule analytics and proposals.
  • Maintains a wide variety of fiscal information, files and records for the purpose of providing an audit trail for compliance.
  • Assists the Superintendent with human resources and job postings.
  • Assists the Superintendent with LCAP tracking and fiscal activity.
  • Collects money from students, staff and others for school activities and functions.
  • Processes deposits and takes them to the County Treasurer or bank.
  • Manages invoices and deposits for CAVA Charter School for oversight fees.
  • Maintains technology inventory.
  • Processes auditor requests.
  • Processes, monitors, and updates state mandated claims, records, reimbursements, and related activities.
  • Reconciles year-end closing account activities, records, liabilities, and revenue transactions.
  • Attends monthly C.B.O. meetings at the County Office of Education.
  • Coordinates with the Superintendent on budget, LCFF, SPA, LEP, SCCP, and other special programs.
  • Coordinates with the Superintendent on policy, resolutions, legal materials, MOU's, and handbooks.
  • Deals with a wide variety of confidential information.
  • Other duties as assigned.
