We are seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Part-Time Administrative Assistant to join our supportive team. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a school community where every staff member is valued, relationships with families are meaningful, and the work you do each day truly makes a difference. The ideal candidate will be flexible, professional, and comfortable assisting in both office and classroom settings as needed.
Responsibilities:
Administrative Support & Operations Answer phones, greet families, and assist with daily front office operations Perform clerical duties including typing, data entry, record keeping, photocopying, and appointment scheduling Maintain student files and records with accuracy and confidentiality Assist with organization and coordination of school events and activities Help maintain clean, organized, and efficient workspaces Student Supervision & Support Supervise children in classrooms and on playgrounds as needed Provide personal care to students when necessary, including hygiene, diapering, toileting, and first aid Use respectful, age-appropriate language when interacting with children Follow California Community Care Licensing Title 22 regulations and school policies Communication & Collaboration Build and maintain positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues Communicate with parents in person and through written messages as needed Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and school events Support a collaborative and positive school culture
Qualifications:
Minimum of 12 completed ECE units required High school diploma or equivalent required Prior administrative or school office experience preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask and work well in a team environment Proof of negative TB test or chest X-ray Proof of required immunizations, including
Pertussis and Measles Work Schedule:
Monday
  • Friday, 3:00 pm
  • 6:00 pm Year-round, part-time position Additional hours for school events may occasionally be available How we'll support you and what you'll love about us: $22
