GENERAL INFORMATION
: The Program Assistant works with the management team to plan, organize and perform a wide variety of specialized administrative and technical duties in support of the successful completion of work scope goals and deliverables for grant-funded projects. The Program Assistant works directly under the supervision of the Program Coordinator.
QUALIFICATIONS
A minimum of 1 year experience working with complex grant-funded projects or related program experience Experience in coordinating community programs preferred, particularly in the areas of after school, prevention, volunteers, and health & wellness CDL and NCOE driving clearance required Bilingual in Spanish preferred
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Program Management Responsible for providing administrative support to site staff on a regular basis, including support with supplies and materials orders. Responsible for assisting with social media, newsletters and regular communication regarding program. Maintain program calendar and update calendar with staff info, contacts and resources. Represent the project to the public including consultants, advisory members, and constituents. Track support requests and coordinate the provision of follow-up technical assistance. Responsible to analyze and address problems proactively. Using judgment and discretion, must resolve problems that may not be covered by policy. Reporting Track data and prepare draft project reports as required by funding agents Responsible for tracking payments and providing reports to management when requested.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Ability to present program information effectively Ability to independently, plan, organize, and coordinate work on multiple projects with concurrent deadlines Thorough knowledge of project goals and standards Knowledge of project policies and procedures to use as guidance, and use of considerable judgment and discretion Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain positiveworking relationships Ability to work well across tasks and with multiple teams, including project staff, consultants, NCOE staff, and funders Excellent Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills Attention to detail and good organizational skills
