Up to 6 months, with potential extension or temp?to?hire opportunity
Work Schedule:
Monday
  • Friday 8:30am-5pm
  • Every other Friday off unpaid Position Overview Provides confidential administrative and clerical support to department leadership, assisting with daily operations, reporting, and coordination while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. Key Responsibilities
  • Relieves administrators of a variety of administrative and clerical responsibilities
  • Receives, greets, and screens visitors and telephone calls; makes appropriate referrals
  • Conducts special studies and prepares administrative reports
  • Types reports, correspondence, and procedural memoranda
  • Communicates information regarding established agency programs and procedures
  • Assists department directors with administrative problems and procedural matters
  • Studies and evaluates operating programs and procedures; assists with implementing new programs and processes
  • Independently analyzes data and prepares related materials
  • Assists with budget preparation
  • Prepares reports; monitors attendance records; processes industrial claims and certain payroll-related functions
  • Maintains confidential and administrative files Minimum Qualifications
  • Graduation from high school and completion of 48 semester units of general education from an accredited college or university
  • Two years of responsible professional experience providing executive?level administrative support, including data analysis and report preparation
