Skills:
Must have strong attention to detail, be highly motivated, able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and possess the ability to take and follow directions.
Tasks performed by receptionist/mail clerk:
Answer phones for Oakland and Concord offices related to calendaring Light calendaring to assist scheduler Confirming proceedings Confirming interpreters for med-legal purposes Preparing calendaring notices for parties Open and scan incoming mail Processing outgoing mail (USPS and FedEx) for legal professionals Maintain and update filing, inventory, mailing, and database systems, either manually or using a computer Printing Stuffing and sealing envelopes Posting mail Delivering mail to post office (and FedEx, if after daily pick up) Maintaining postage logs Scanning documents Monitoring supplies needed for the mailroom Maintaining a clean and organized mailroom and reception area Answer the door for vendors and guests Monitoring supplies for kitchen and restocking as necessary Troubleshoot problems involving office equipment and ordering service as needed Travel between Oakland and Concord offices under direction of management Train other staff members to perform work activities, such as using office machines Deliver messages and run errands Count, weigh, measure, or organize materials Prepare conference rooms and order meals/beverages as directed Assist with preparation for office move Other duties as assigned by management
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Unimpeded repetitive movement of hands and fingers - typing and/or writing. Frequent standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, or crouching. Able to reach with hands and arms, push, pull and lift items up to 25 pounds. Ability to communicate in a way that those present and in remote locations can understand.

Ability to read, actively listen and comprehend instruction; Excellent organizational, verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to manage one's own time and the time of others; Demonstrated problem-solving and strategic thinking ability; Team player with strong client services commitment and able to successfully work in fast-paced environment; Able to multi-task, set priorities and deliver quality results Send e-mail with resume and references.
