Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and friendly Front Desk Staff member to be the welcoming face of our hotel. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring a positive and professional experience at all times. Your energetic approach, organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks with ease will contribute significantly to the smooth operation of our office environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your administrative and customer service skills while supporting daily office functions. Responsibilities Greet visitors warmly and direct them appropriately, maintaining a professional and approachable demeanor. Manage multi-line phone systems efficiently, answering inquiries, transferring calls, and taking messages with excellent phone etiquette. Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, mailings, and deliveries. Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring all office supplies are stocked and accessible. Assist with clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, proofreading documents, and updating records using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools. Support office management activities including calendar management, appointment scheduling, and basic bookkeeping Provide customer support by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally while maintaining confidentiality. Qualifications Proven experience in front desk or reception roles with strong office management skills. Excellent computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Workspace, and data entry software. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist a diverse clientele. Demonstrated experience in clerical work such as filing, proofreading, and document management. Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette. Familiarity with office equipment including multi-line phone systems, printers, and fax machines. Personal assistant or administrative support experience is a plus.
