Job Description

HEALTH AND FITNESS FRONT DESK ADMIN STAFF
Objective:
Perform the daily functions of the fitness desk.
JOB POSTING 1.
Maintain a positive attitude at all times. Must be customer service oriented and must be pleasant and helpful. 2. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting all members and guests, promptly answering and directing calls, and assisting with questions and concerns. 3. Always maintain professionalism and be courteous at all times. 4. Check-in all members, renters, and guests according to procedures. This includes but is not limited to verifying facility privileges, creating membership accounts, and processing facility waivers. 5. Assist with scheduling and canceling appointments for various events and activities. 6. Ensure accurate record keeping, especially pertaining to facility logs and membership profiles, is maintained at all times. 7. Process sales according to procedures for retail, court activities, special events and fitness classes. 8. Monitor facility usage and maintain a clean and safe environment at all times. 9. Assist with activity and event set-up as needed. May be asked to set up ball machines for racquet sports. 10. Assist with racquet court maintenance as needed. May be asked to help with court washing and maintaining court areas by emptying trash containers and assisting the Director with any maintenance needs on the courts. 11. Inspect all areas of the club including but not limited to bathrooms and outdoor racquet courts and complete assigned cleaning and sanitizing duties as needed. Repeat cleaning responsibilities are required. 12. Enforce the Rules and Regulations of the club, policies of the association and operational procedures of the Health and Fitness Center. 13. Assist director with any administrative duties as needed including conducting emails, inventory logs, maintenance reports, and other material needed using a Microsoft Office application, the internet, and other software as necessary. 14. Be to work on time per work schedule. 15. Be available to work on holidays, weekends and overtime as needed, especially during peak seasons. 16. Physical Requirements Able to stand on your feet, bend, stoop, walk, or sit repetitively and/or drive for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and/or carry 25 lbs. or greater. Must be able to work in inclement weather conditions, including extreme heat conditions. High school diploma or equivalent
