WHO ARE WE
The Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians is a federally recognized Indian Tribe located in Palm Springs, California, with 32,000 acres of reservation lands that spread across Palm Springs, Cathedral City, Rancho Mirage, and into the Santa Rosa and San Jacinto mountains. The Tribe currently owns and operates two 18-hole championship golf courses, 3 casinos located in Cathedral City, Rancho Mirage, and downtown Palm Springs, two world class spas, and a fuel station. JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Research, identify and assess Indian lease land deficiencies Provide written recommendations to cure Indian lease land deficiencies
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Extensive research and analysis to identify title deficiencies and/or unauthorized deeds of trust Prepare analysis and make recommendations to cure deficiencies and/or unauthorized deeds of trust Compile all necessary documentation necessary to cure deficiencies Provide administrative assistance to facilitate transactions Work closely with the Escrow Community, Realtors, Lenders and Title Companies Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Excellent research skills a must Excellent organizational ability Ability to meet schedules and timelines a must Ability to multi-task Ability to work independently; must be diligent, consistent and focused Excellent grammar, punctuation and verbal communication skills Self-motivated and resourceful Qualifications EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
Familiarity with the Code of Federal Regulations Familiarity with best business practices of the Escrow Community Extensive knowledge of Agua Caliente land base Extensive knowledge of BIA Residential Leases Extensive knowledge of Residential Lease forms, processes and fees
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Typically, the individual will be housed in an office environment, but may occasionally be exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
