The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient service both over the phone and at the front desk while maintaining a calm, professional demeanor in a fast-paced medical environment. This role combines switchboard/phone operations, patient scheduling, front desk reception, and administrative support. You will be a key point of contact for patients, providers, and staff, ensuring smooth communication, accurate documentation, and exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities Front Desk & Patient Services Greet and assist patients and visitors in a friendly, professional manner Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments Register new patients and update demographics in EMR (eClinicalWorks preferred) Verify insurance eligibility and collect co-pays; provide receipts Distribute, collect, and review patient forms for completeness Document no-shows, cancellations, and appointment changes Manage patient flow and maintain front office and waiting area cleanliness Handle incoming/outgoing faxes, scanning medical documents and general clerical tasks Phone & Communication Duties Answer multi-line phone system promptly and professionally and take accurate, detailed messages Perform call triage and assess patient needs for proper routing Communicate clearly and professionally with patients and staff Enter patient information into EMR while handling live calls Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations General Administrative Duties Maintain accurate records and documentation Perform filing, copying, and office support tasks as needed Work collaboratively with providers and staff in a team-based environment Adapt to changing priorities in a busy clinic setting Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of medical office or healthcare administrative experience preferred. Previous switchboard or high-volume phone experience strongly preferred. Experience with EMR systems; eClinicalWorks experience preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) required. Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong computer, typing, and data entry skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced, high-volume medical office. Professional, calm, empathetic demeanor and the ability to maintain strict patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA. Work Schedule Monday

8:30- 5:30, Friday 8:00am
- 4:00pm (During training hours will be 8:00 am
- 5:00pm) 1-2 extended evening ("late-night") shifts per week Compensation & Benefits $18
