Job Description

Position Summary PrideStaff San Diego is seeking a highly detail-oriented Clerical Assistant to support a procurement team with document formatting and administrative tasks. This role focuses on ensuring procurement and contract documents are professionally formatted, accurate, and consistent. Key Responsibilities
  • Revise and format procurement and contract documents in Microsoft Word
  • Apply consistent formatting using styles, headings, and templates
  • Create and update tables of contents, pagination, and document structure
  • Proofread documents for grammar, punctuation, and clarity
  • Ensure documents meet formatting standards and quality expectations
  • Organize and manage multiple documents while meeting deadlines
  • Follow detailed instructions and formatting guidelines precisely Qualifications
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, including advanced formatting (styles, headings, TOC, pagination)
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong grammar, punctuation, and proofreading skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Prior clerical or administrative experience preferred Skills & Abilities
  • Strong written communication skills
  • High level of organization and document management
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
  • Ability to interpret and apply formatting standards consistently Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $20.
