Job Description
Automotive Office Clerk Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Automotive Office Clerk to support daily dealership operations and administrative functions. This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate records, processing paperwork, supporting accounting functions, and ensuring smooth communication between departments. The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, and able to thrive in a fast-paced automotive environment. Responsibilities Process and maintain dealership paperwork accurately and efficiently Assist with contracts, billing, invoices, and internal documentation Verify deal jackets and supporting documents for completeness Support accounting functions including accounts payable and receivable File and maintain confidential records in accordance with company policies Communicate with Sales, Service, Parts, and Management teams regarding documentation needs Answer phones, greet customers, and provide administrative support as needed Assist with data entry, reporting, and record management Maintain office supplies and support daily office operations Ensure compliance with dealership policies and procedures Qualifications Previous administrative or office experience preferred Automotive dealership experience is a plus Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer systems Ability to work independently and as part of a team High attention to detail and accuracy Professional demeanor and strong customer service skills Education & Experience Prior dealership office or accounting experience preferred, but not required.
