We work with doctors, patients, and lawyers by providing a neutral and qualified medical expertise for workers compensation cases. We're looking for an organized, well-spoken, and responsible person to manage everything admin in the practice.
You are:
Polished and poised; even when you don't know the answers to things you're able to communicate professionally and clearly Organized with extreme attention to detail Technically savvy - you'll spend the time learning the tools rather than slog through a manual process Excited to work in a fast-paced environment with a small team What you'll do: Work one on one with orthopaedic surgeons to run their evaluations Take vitals and direct patients Communicate with insurance adjusters, attorneys, and legal support staff to ensure all paperwork and records have been received Create and distribute procedural documents to internal and external parties as part of the intake process.
Manage medical and other records:
review paperwork and check that it's complete, prepare billing packages, and send out records via electronic and US Mail Maintain internal databases/spreadsheets Ensure that all paperwork is in order before appointment.
Pay:
$25.00 per hour
