Job Description
Construction Operations Coordinator Location:
Santee, CA Schedule:
In-office | Monday-Friday | 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM Superior Asphalt is seeking a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Construction Operations Coordinator to support daily office and operational functions. This is an in-office position that plays a key role in supporting payroll, compliance, safety documentation, project coordination, and overall office operations within a fast-paced construction environment. This role is ideal for someone with prior construction office experience who is comfortable managing multiple responsibilities, maintaining organized systems, and helping ensure smooth operational information flow between the office and field. Administrative & Office Support- Provide administrative support across daily office operations
- Organize and maintain physical and digital company records
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence
- Support day-to-day office coordination and operational needs
- Assist with additional tasks and priorities as needed to support efficient office operations Payroll & Compliance
- Assist with payroll and certified payroll processing
- Maintain employee files and personnel records
- Support OSHA and Cal/OSHA compliance documentation
- Maintain truck and fleet documentation including registrations, insurance, inspections, and related records Operations & Documentation Support
- Prepare, update, and organize job site safety manuals and documentation
- Assemble, maintain, and track safety binders and safety kits
- Assist in compiling and maintaining company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Support company policy and procedure updates
- Help maintain organized operational documentation and project-related records Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a construction office environment
- Experience with payroll and certified payroll preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with construction documentation, safety compliance, and office coordination
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Compensation & Work Location Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$20.00 - $26.00 per hour (depending on experience)Work Location:
