Design Review Job Title:

Design Review Department:
Environmental Planning + Design (EP+D) Non-Exempt, Temporary, Part-Time, 10-20 hours per week
Reports To:
Department Head Hourly rate range: $25.50-$31.07 Job Summary Under supervision, this position provides administrative and workflow support to the Environmental Planning and Design (EP+D) Department, with a primary focus on Design Review operations and Design Committee (DC) coordination. Responsibilities include preparation of meeting agendas and supporting materials, coordination and organization of member submittals, document management, digitization, and administrative tracking of projects. This role supports the transition and maintenance of project tracking systems from Excel-based workflows into Microsoft Planner and assists with preparation of standardized correspondence related to Design Review, septic systems, and lot consolidation processes. Work is performed within established procedures and workflows. This position does not include managerial or decision-making responsibilities.
Qualifications Required Education and Experience :
High school diploma or GED Basic administrative or office experience (1 year preferred) Working knowledge of general office procedures and standard office equipment
Required Skills and Abilities :
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work Ability to follow established procedures and detailed instructions Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook; basic Excel) Clear and professional communication skills Ability to maintain effective working relationships with staff and members Preferred Education and Experience Experience with document management, digitization, or records organization Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools such as SharePoint and Planner Experience supporting process-driven or technical workflows Primary Duties Assist in preparation of Design Committee (DC) agendas Support Design Review staff with administrative workflow tasks Receive, organize, and track Design Review applications Prepare standard correspondence and document packets Workflow and Tracking Assist in transitioning tracking systems from Excel to Microsoft Planner Maintain and update project tracking systems Link documents and correspondence within tracking systems Document Management Scan, digitize, rename, and file documents per EP+D standards Maintain accurate records Correspondence Support Prepare standardized correspondence Ensure proper routing and record keeping Secondary Duties / Responsibilities Assist with backlog reduction and digitization Provide support for member inquiries Perform general clerical duties Support EP+D administrative functions as assigned Scope of Responsibility This position provides administrative and workflow support only. Responsibilities are limited to execution of established processes. Interpretation of Design Review policies and decisions remain the responsibility of designated staff. Physical Requirements Regular and consistent attendance with the ability to sit and perform desk-based work for extended periods as required by assigned tasks. Ability to move throughout the office and lift up to 20 pounds as needed. Ability to use standard office equipment. Expected Hours of Work This is a part-time temporary position.

10 hours per week
Maximum:
