District Job Summary Job Summary Definition of Work:
Under general supervision of the high school or elementary school Principal and the direct on of the Attendance Supervisor, the Attendance Technician performs a wide variety of tasks, requiring advanced skills, pertaining to attendance records for all students enrolled in high school or elementary schools; to assist with routine student and parental contacts and absence control functions.- Work hours/days are subject to change for the the 2026/2027 SY based on the approved MOU between CSEA and the District View Job Description Requirements / Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
- Any combination of education equal to a high school diploma
- Two (2)years of demonstrated and increasingly responsible experience in a related field which has provided the applicant with the required knowledge and ability to perform job duties.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in a public school setting
- Experience working with children with special needs
- Ability to communicate effectively in the Spanish language, both orally and in writing
Licenses and Certifications:
- Possession of an appropriate, valid California Driver's License, and evidence of insurability Letter of Introduction Letter(s) of Recommendation (3) Proof of HS Graduation (or GED) Resume TB Screening Result Requirements / Qualifications
