401(k) Dental insurance Employee discounts Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Cross-Trained Medical Assistant (Front & Back Office) Role Overview We are seeking a versatile, high-energy Cross-Trained Medical Assistant to support both our clinical operations and front-desk patient experience. In this dual role, you will be the backbone of our daily workflow, seamlessly transitioning between clinical patient care and essential administrative duties. The ideal candidate is highly organized, efficient under pressure, and deeply committed to providing exceptional patient service. Key Responsibilities Back Office (Clinical): Prepare exam rooms, room patients, and capture accurate vital signs and medical histories. Assist providers with examinations, minor procedures, and clinical charting. Perform basic lab tests, blood draws (phlebotomy), and administer injections or medications as directed. Ensure strict adherence to OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols. Front Office (Administrative): Warmly greet patients, manage the check-in/check-out process, and verify demographic and insurance details. Collect copays, deductibles, and balances accurately. Manage multi-line phones, schedule appointments, and coordinate patient flow to minimize wait times. Maintain precise digital records within the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
Qualifications & Skills Certification:
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (CMA or RMA preferred).
Experience:
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an urgent care, family medicine, or high-volume outpatient setting.
Technical Proficiency:
Strong hands-on experience with modern EHR systems and digital scheduling platforms.
