The Legal/Administrative Intern is an entry level position for a current or recently graduated student who is interested in exploring a career in legal operations, business administration, office administration, or other careers supporting Cooper Carry. The Legal/Administrative Intern will concentrate on tasks that contribute to their educational pursuits and the overall success of Cooper Carry. This role will support the Legal Department with a combination of legal department tasks, administrative support, and office coordination. The intern may also assist with administrative coordination related to Cooper Carry's office move from Boulder to Denver. QUALIFICATIONS
Currently attending or just graduated from an accredited University. Entry level student intern with an interest in legal, business, administration, operations, or a related field. Strong interest in a field of study related to careers supporting Cooper Carry. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and follow through on assignments. Professional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams. The hourly rate offered for this position is $23/hour. RESPONSIBILITIES
Specific responsibilities of the Legal/Administrative Intern may include, but are not limited to, the following depending on internship goals and assignment: Provide administrative support to the Legal Department, including scheduling, document organization, data entry, filing, tracking, follow-up, and general department coordination. Assist with legal department projects such as contract preparation/organization, document management, compliance documentation, legal research, and maintaining department records. Help prepare, organize, and update internal communications, meeting materials, project trackers, and department files. Support coordination with internal team members, external vendors, and other business partners as directed. Assist with office-related administrative tasks, including coordination connected to the Boulder to Denver office relocation. Support logistics related to the office move, which may include inventory tracking, vendor coordination, packing coordination, supply management, and follow-up on move-related action items. Meet task and project deadlines. Communicate an understanding of task assignments and expectations. Develop administrative, organizational, communication, and professional business skills. Develop and maintain knowledge of Cooper Carry projects, resources, departments, and internal processes. Take advantage of continuing education, learning opportunities, and exposure to professional services business operations. Have specific goals based on curriculum of course or interests to explore while working and communicate those goals to their supervisor/manager. Other duties as logically inherent to role.
