$44,000•$48,000 per yearResponsibilities:
Process electronic mail to determine appropriate routing based on specific program needs (e.g., Eligibility Enrollment and Verification (EEV), Civilian Health and Medical Programs Veteran Affairs (CHAMPVA), Spina Bifida, CHAMPVA Foreign (CVAF), and Foreign Medical Program (FMP)) and returned mail. Identify and route claims or related correspondence according to program-specific criteria, ensuring timely and accurate processing. Closely examine and review documents and identify the specific program before applying the program-specific criteria needed to correctly route each document. Monitor scanning results for accuracy and store digital images in an imaging database for search, index, and printing. Prioritize scanning tasks to meet departmental timeliness metrics and mission goals. Process assigned electronic files in one platform to be downloaded and uploaded to another platform. Process EEV Mail Intake by identifying and electronically processing documents for individuals not yet enrolled. Handle Bad Address processing by organizing undeliverable mail, eliminating duplicates, and flagging invalid addresses in the central beneficiary database, following a first-in, first-out system. View documents in various government platforms to improve business performance and update the appropriate record data.Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or related administrative/technical experience preferred. Minimum of 2 years of administrative, records processing, claims processing, document intake, or clerical support experience. Experience working within electronic records systems, document management platforms, or web-based processing tools. Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately review, classify, and route documents according to established procedures. Ability to manage high-volume workloads while maintaining timeliness and accuracy standards. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks independently. Comfortable navigating multiple systems and applications simultaneously. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to identify discrepancies, troubleshoot workflow issues, and escalate concerns appropriately. Experience supporting government, healthcare, insurance, or benefits-processing environments preferred. Familiarity with VA systems, records management, or beneficiary processing operations is a plus.Working Conditions:
Work to be performed at the Denver Federal Center, located at West 6th Avenue and Kipling Street, Lakewood, CO 80225. Work to be performed Monday through Friday, from 0700 to 1530, excluding federal holidays. No travel required.Security Clearance:
Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance as required by the VA.Training Requirements:
All personnel must complete mandatory VA training courses before accessing VA information and systems. Ongoing training and certification to stay current with VA policies and federal regulations.Key Performance Indicators:
