This energetic role offers the opportunity to support various departments by managing administrative tasks with efficiency and enthusiasm. Your organizational skills and positive attitude will help ensure smooth daily operations, excellent customer service, and effective communication across all levels of county government. Duties Serve as the first point of contact at the front desk, greeting visitors and directing inquiries with professionalism and warmth Manage multi-line phone systems, screen calls, and route messages accurately and promptly Perform data entry, maintain filing systems, and handle document proofreading to ensure accuracy and organization Utilize office management software such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks for bookkeeping, record keeping, and report generation Coordinate calendar management and schedule appointments for county officials and departments Support clerical tasks including filing, copying, scanning, and organizing documents to keep office operations seamless Provide excellent customer support by assisting residents and stakeholders with inquiries or services needed Skills Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace tools Experience with QuickBooks or similar bookkeeping software for financial recordkeeping Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse community needs Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills for professional interaction via multi-line phone systems Proven office management experience combined with clerical and administrative expertise Ability to perform data entry accurately with high attention to detail; typing speed is a plus Strong time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently Personal assistant or office support experience that demonstrates reliability and initiative This role offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute meaningfully to county operations while developing your administrative expertise.
