Job Description

Job Overview Our client who has been a reputable name in their Industry for almost 50 years is seeking a dedicated and highly organized Sales Administrative Assistant to a reputable manufacturer. This role is essential in supporting daily administrative operations, managing customer interactions, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the sales department. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and proficiency with office management systems.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Support the sales process with all vendor and customer communications via phone and email Understand full product line and price list to ensure accuracy with all transactions Understands each product "quantity description" - some are by Units, rolls, length, etc... Daily use of Microsoft ERP system Order Entries for existing customers via phone and email Processing Invoices for orders created/shipped Assist with answering calls/handling inquires that come to the office main line (5 calls a day is a lot, and most days are less as most of the communication is through email. Legitimate calls to the office are usually a customer or vendor, and this candidate will be their primary point of contact for orders, billing, shipping/tracking info, all around customer service) Will occasionally assist the packaging/production department with minor tasks that may include lifting a box or too that can weigh up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Strong computer literacy across Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace tools.. Demonstrated clerical experience including data entry, filing, proofreading, and document management. Knowledge of office management procedures and administrative best practices. Exceptional time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently. 5+ years' experience in an Administrative Support role Experience communicating with customers and vendors via phone and email Excellent verbal and written/email skills Attention to detail Manufacturing industry experience is a plus 2yr or 4yr degree is a plus High School Diploma or Equivalent required
Pay:
$44,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
