The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to multitask, and be comfortable working in a professional legal environment. This position involves billing, research, client communication, and assisting with case-related administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Billing & Invoicing:
Prepare and send accurate invoices to attorneys and clients; track payment status and follow up as needed.
Research :
Conduct research for billing client matters.
Application Assistance:
Help prepare and submit Social Security applications, ensuring all required documentation is completed and accurate.
Client & Attorney Communication :
Contact clients and attorneys to gather necessary financial and demographic information, verify details, and provide updates.
Administrative Support :
Maintain organized electronic and paper files, handle correspondence and support general office operations.
Data Entry & Record Management :
Update databases, case management systems, and billing records with accurate and current information.
Qualifications:
Prior office or finance experience preferred Familiarity with Social Security applications or legal processes Billing or invoicing experience Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and online research tools Excellent verbal and written communication skills High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently Join us to be part of a dedicated team that values proactive problem-solving, clear communication, and organizational excellence.
