Position Summary:
The Business Office Coordinator oversees the day-to-day administrative and financial operations of the assisted living community. This role ensures accuracy in billing, payroll, staff records, and state requirements while providing excellent customer service to residents, families, staff, and visitors. Key Responsibilities Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, including resident billing and collections. Process payroll and maintain accurate employee records. Prepare and maintain resident contracts, files, and confidential documentation. Track budgets, expenses, and assist with monthly financial reporting. Ensure compliance with state, federal, and company policies and procedures. Coordinate with department heads to ensure accurate monthly spend-downs and financial reporting. Qualifications Associate's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum 2 years of office administration, bookkeeping, or accounting experience; healthcare or senior living experience preferred. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and basic accounting software. Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Customer-service mindset with professionalism and compassion. Benefits Competitive salary based on experience.
