Works with the Beecher Road School Principal for the effective operation of the Main Office and its interaction with children, families, and staff of Beecher Road School.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides administrative assistant support to the Beecher Road School Principal Provides secretarial and clerical duties for the Beecher Road School Principal Major job responsibilities include but are not limited to: Manages the daily operation of the Main Office of Beecher Road School Manages the student files and records of Beecher Road School Prepares documentation and reports necessary for Free and Reduced-Price Lunch, and for the Connecticut Department of Children and Families, in accordance with all local, state, and federal requirements Manages the records and coverage needs of staff absences at Beecher Road School Manages the budget of Beecher Road School, including the electronic processing of all purchase orders and check requests Schedules and maintains the calendar of Beecher Road School and its Principal Coordinates effectively with staff of other departments and offices of the Woodbridge School District Assists with the work of other administrative assistants and school/District offices at the direction of the Administration
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
