Job Description

Our client is looking for a dedicated self-starter who is passionate about history, enjoys collaborating, and delivers excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have the ability to exercise good judgment and maintain confidentiality and must have strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills. The coordinator will have the ability to work independently on projects, must be creative and willing to multi-task, handle a wide variety of activities, and enjoy working within a small, mission-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
Organizing and streamlining paperwork. Provide support for events and their preparation. Processing packages and letters for mailing. Maintaining and ordering office supplies. Maintaining membership database and various spreadsheets. Answering phones and managing email correspondence on behalf of the organization. Processing member and chapter updates and administering welcome packets for new members. Assist the Executive Director and Assistant Director with a wide array of tasks as they arise
Qualifications:
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Access. Highly proficient with computers and standard office technology (printer, scanner, telephone, etc.) and confident with digital communication tools such as E-blast communications and Zoom. Proficiency in WordPress and in SharePoint/OneDrive is a plus. Detail-oriented, methodical worker able to follow set processes and input data with a high level of accuracy. Collaborative team-player with excellent communication and writing skills. Ability to use judgment, work independently to complete tasks, and take proactive approach to driving work. Prior event and office coordination experience a plus.
