Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a professional and highly organized Administrative Assistant for a direct hire opportunity in Orlando, FL. This in-office role supports the President's Office within a university setting and is ideal for an administrative professional who enjoys working in a polished, service-focused, and mission-driven educational environment. The Administrative Assistant will play an important role in supporting department leadership, faculty, and staff by managing daily administrative operations, coordinating schedules, preparing documents, and maintaining accurate records. This is a great opportunity for someone who values stability, professionalism, collaboration, and the ability to contribute to a respected higher education environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, discreet, and comfortable interacting with senior leadership and campus stakeholders. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with supportive leadership in a team-oriented office where organization, communication, and follow-through are highly valued. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to department leadership, faculty, and staff within the President's Office.
  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, coordinate appointments, and help maintain an organized daily workflow.
  • Prepare, proofread, and edit correspondence, reports, presentations, and other professional documents.
  • Maintain student, departmental, and office records in accordance with university policies and confidentiality standards.
  • Support meeting preparation, follow-up items, document distribution, and general office coordination.
  • Serve as a professional point of contact for internal and external communications. Compensation and Benefits
  • Direct hire opportunity.
  • Salary range is $45,000 to $48,000 per year.
  • In-office role located in Orlando, FL.
  • Candidate must be okay with travel from Orlando to Kissimmee campus on occasion.
