401(k) 401(k) matching Health insurance Paid time off Competitive salary Opportunity for advancement Training & development Our high-volume pediatric office in Coconut Creek is seeking an experienced Portuguese-speaking Front Desk Assistant to support daily operations and ensure efficient patient flow. This role is best suited for candidates who are comfortable in a fast-paced environment, managing high call volume, and multitasking throughout the day. Pay is based on experience, with higher rates offered to candidates with strong medical front desk experience.Key Responsibilities:
Greet and check in/out 80-100+ patients daily in a professional and efficient manner. Manage high-volume phone lines while assisting patients in person. Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments accurately. Verify insurance eligibility and update patient demographics. Collect copays, deductibles, and outstanding balances. Scan and manage documentation within EMR system. Support front office workflow and assist team as needed Requirements (Please apply only if you meet ALL of the below): Fluent in Portuguese and English (required) A minimum of 1 year of front desk experience in a medical office Comfortable handling high patient volume and multitasking Strong communication and customer service skills Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Basic knowledge of insurance verification and copay collectionPreferred:
