About Us Broward Machine / TowEye Inc. is a custom marine hardware fabrication company based in Dania Beach, FL. We specialize in stainless steel tow eyes, shackle guards, and rigging packages for yacht tenders and high-performance vessels. Our customer base includes some of the most respected names in the marine industry — Contender Boats, HCB Yachts, MarineMax, Intrepid Powerboats, Power Cat Marine, Denison Yachting, Viking, Boston Whaler, Sailfish, Everglades, and many more. We are a small, fast-paced shop with a growing customer base, a respected reputation, and a genuine craftsman-led culture. The owner has 35+ years of fabrication experience and personally oversees every install. About the Role We're growing and looking to add a second Administrative Assistant to our team. This person will work directly with our existing Administrative Assistant and report to the Chief Operating Officer. You'll be the second point of contact for customer communications, estimate building, invoicing oversight, and the operational follow-through that keeps fabrication moving on schedule. Your work directly supports the smooth running of a real, growing business — every email you send and every estimate you build has visible impact. This is an in-person role at our Dania Beach facility. We're looking for someone who is professional, organized, detail-oriented, and warm in customer communications. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Answer incoming customer calls and respond to customer emails professionally and promptly Build customer estimates in QuickBooks Online (QBO) based on guidance from the COO and the shop floor Send Customer Setup Forms to new customers and track returns Coordinate invoice creation, revisions, and follow-through with customers and our fractional CFO Track customer projects through fabrication and installation milestones Maintain organized records of customer communications, templates, and project status Coordinate shipping logistics, install scheduling, and customer pickups Process payments, refunds, and account-related questions in coordination with the COO and CFO Support the COO on special projects: marketing, social media, vendor coordination, internal systems Help maintain the production board and ensure information flows accurately between the office and the shop
What We're Looking For Required:
2+ years administrative, customer service, or office coordination experience Strong written and verbal communication skills — your emails will represent the company Comfort with QuickBooks Online or similar accounting/invoicing software (we will train on our specific workflow) Comfort with Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Chat) Strong attention to detail — we are in a precision industry where small errors have real consequences Reliable, in-person attendance Monday through Friday Ability to learn technical terminology related to marine hardware (we will teach you) Preferred (not required): Prior experience in marine, fabrication, manufacturing, or trades-related industries Experience with multi-customer workflow systems Familiarity with VoIP phone systems (QUO or similar) Comfort working in a small-team environment where roles flex as the business grows Personal qualities that will make you successful here: You ask before you act when you don't know something You stay calm when the day gets chaotic You take pride in clean, organized work You are warm and professional with customers, even when they are not You take initiative without overstepping You give and receive feedback well Why Work Here Real impact.
