Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Administrative Assistant to join our team! This vital role offers the opportunity to support daily office operations, enhance workflow efficiency, and provide exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, strong organizational skills, and a proactive attitude to ensure the smooth functioning of our office environment. Whether managing correspondence, coordinating schedules, or assisting with clerical tasks, you'll play a key role in creating a positive and productive workplace. Duties Manage front desk responsibilities, including greeting visitors and handling multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and other office management tools Meet with the Pastor regularly to go over the calendar and other important information Oversee calendar management and schedule appointments for staff members, ensuring efficient time utilization Create a weekly bulletin for Sunday and other worship services. Prepare worship visual slides. Pick up, sort, and distribute mail. Provide exceptional customer support via phone, email, and in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills Support office management duties such as supply ordering, organization of files, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment Keep church matters (e.g. counseling appointments, giving information, staff situations, etc) Confidential. Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent Pass a Background Check Proven experience in office administration or clerical roles with strong organizational skills and attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and professional phone etiquette Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse client needs effectively Excellent typing speed and data entry skills to ensure efficient documentation processes Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
Pay:
$15,600.00 per year
