Job Description

Job Summary This role focuses on Digitizing/Illustrating and Proofreading The Embroidery Digitizer is responsible for transforming artwork and designs into digital files that can be used by embroidery machines. This role requires a strong understanding of embroidery processes, attention to detail, and proficiency with digitizing software. The Embroidery Digitizer collaborates with production team to ensure that designs are accurately translated into high-quality embroidered products, meeting both customer specifications and company standards.
Essential Job Functions:
Discusses artwork at various stages of completion and discusses necessary changes with supervisor. Determine logo size, select density, and underlay stitch settings, reviews push/pull and entry/exit points on all letters and objects, choose thread colors, prepare sequence sheet for production. Responsible for processing any art change request from the production floor. Reviews artwork for use on item. Keep work area clean and follow all safety rules.
Position Overview:
The Proofreader is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of all artwork and designs before they are finalized and sent to production. This role involves carefully reviewing proofs for consistency, errors, and adherence to brand guidelines, as well as collaborating with artists and other team members to address any discrepancies. The Proofreader plays a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of quality and consistency expected by Hit Promotional Products, ensuring that all visual materials meet client and company expectations before they reach the Production stage.
Essential Job Functions:
Responsible for quality and accuracy of an order before production by using an art application system. Reviews the supplied customer artwork, artwork returned from vendors, purchase order, and any added customer or CSR special instructions. Compare artwork to the corresponding final file(s) and production traveler for any errors. • Mark any errors found and return them to the vendor/artist for correction.
Pay:
$16.00 - $17.00 per hour
